it takes place some distant time in the future on the foriegn planet Ares after a nuclear war left its few survivors mutated. 17 year old Netsuke protects his friends 16year old Yuki and 12 year old Teki from the dangers they face in the aftermath of the nuclear fallout. Soon after fighting for months they get fed up and try to leave the city but are stopped by an old sage Hirune who teaches them in self defense and inner peace, but upon accident awakens their hidden powers granted by the nuclear explosion, which somehow altered their genetic structure. After they learn of their new powers they swear to overthrow The Immortal Lord Death, the tyrant who started the war and caused the death of countless people. Little do they know the road ahead will be full of hardships as they fight there way to the top of Deaths Canyon.
